The Central European University (CEU) was founded in 1991 and is known for excellence in teaching and research—with purpose. Since several years ago, CEU has joined forces with UN-SPIDER to carry out training courses on the use of space technologies in disaster management to train a new generation of professionals.
CEU is accredited in the United States, Austria, and Hungary, and offers English-language bachelor's, master's and doctoral programs in the social sciences, the humanities, law, management and public policy.
